An exciting job opportunity has arisen in the GIS (Geographical Information Systems) Team to carry out the role of GIS Mapping Officer. The team is responsible for managing the Council’s (Enfield Council) Corporate GIS datasets and maintaining the Local Street and Property Gazetteer function.
You will be responsible for carrying out the duties of a GIS professional in the delivery, creation and maintenance of spatial data, you’ll also resolve technical queries with data owners, deal with existing datasets and provide ad-hoc mapping. This includes database management of the Corporate Spatial Database, ensuring the data held complies with the desired accuracy and metadata standards. You will be converse in MapInfo Professional and other IT. Your application
must demonstrate experience of general office practices including the use of MS Office software.
