The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, within the Department of the Interior, has an incredible responsibility to manage billions of ocean acres of the U.S. continental shelf. We have an extremely important role– securing ocean energy and minerals for our future, while ensuring that any exploration and development occur in an environmentally-responsible way. That involves rigorous study and assessment of impacts to the environment. This position fills a new, but integral role. Seeking a self-starter and team-player – someone who knows her or his way around GIS and people, complex data, advanced geospatial methods.

Salary: $96,970 to $148,967 per year
Telework: Up to half time
Location: D.C. Metro Area
