FULL TIME Night Shift Geospatial Analysts (3:30/4:00 – 11:30-12:00)
Wiser Company, LLC, a leading engineering, mapping, and surveying company is experiencing rapid growth and is now seeking top-notch talent to join our successful teams. Currently, we are recruiting for entry-level and experienced GIS Analysts at our Murfreesboro, TN location. We are looking for detail-oriented individuals with a positive attitude and excellent work ethic. Strong computer skills and a capacity to learn new, emerging technologies is also a must.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience in the Intelligence Community and must possess the ability to independently select and extrapolate intelligence and operations production data and present summaries as required; Working knowledge of ESRI ArcGIS software suite and systems and software programs such as NSS Workstations, Geospatial Data Navigator (GDN), WebVoyager, WARP; and, MS Office Suite to include PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, Word, and Outlook for email communication. Qualified candidates must also demonstrate a knowledge of digital and raster products such as commercial imagery, NTM, MC&G, CADRG, DTED, DVOF, GIFD, MGCP, and MIDB; a knowledge of fundamental map reading skills to include concepts of scales, geodetic datums, and projections. Personnel are expected to work independently with minimal or no oversight, work cooperatively as a team member and build effective customer relationships. Finally, the candidate must have the ability to communicate in a professional manner using good oral and written communication skills.
Prefered Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Earth Science, Computer Science or related field, with a practical GIS background (practical experience in GIS field may substitute for degree requirements).
Experience with geospatial data collection, analysis, and/or conversion with ESRI products (ArcMap, ArcToolBox, ArcInfo, etc). Preference will be given to candidates with experience in ArcSDE.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work well with a diverse team of people.
Must be able to multi-task and troubleshoot for technical solutions.
Must be punctual to all work schedules and perform job assignments in a timely and efficient manner.
Must be able to adjust to unexpected changes in work demand to meet deadlines.
Ability to communicate and troubleshoot issues to supervisor.
Ability to take on tasks with minimal supervision.
US citizenship required.
